Discovering expectations and understanding the environment is vital and the client will be required to answer any questions the designer may have and send information on the following: desired design outcome, room dimensions, budget.

Sending photos of the space is always helpful when designing to ensure space planning is accurate and the suggested design theme suits. 

Creating Layouts to Suit Client Brief.

Using computer software to create layouts that best suit the space in accordance with the clients brief.

If the designer feels there are alternative layouts, optional plans will be created to provide the client with a selection of designs.  

Furniture, Fixtures and Accessories.

Considerable time is spent on the selection of furniture, finishes, materials, colours, lighting, artwork and accessories before furthering this into a concept.

Plans to Provide Comprehensive, Locational Information with dimensions.

Accurate & detailed floor plan ensuring specified furniture and lighting works within the space. 

Detailed Information on Suggested FF&A.

Information regarding each item specified within the design will be given to the client. Information will include: item name/title, supplier, cost, and website link for easy online purchasing.

Dependant on package chosen, various options per item will be selected, providing the client with the opportunity to make informed decisions dependant on budget and design requirements.

Look & Feel through Imagery.

After understanding the expectations a concept mood board will be created using imagery to express the design.

Concept mood boards are a fantastic way to give the client an idea of how the designer for-sees the design. Imagery will be gathered for digital presentation.

A Display of Chosen Finishes & Materials.

The designer will research and select suitable finishes which may include (but not limited to) - wall coverings, paint finishes, ceiling finishes, furniture fabric, timber stain, shade fabric & cushion fabric.

The finishes will be gathered for digital presentation.

Colour Selection to Progress Design.

Research undertaken to discover current trends and establish suitable schemes in keeping with the client's requirements and style.

2D Coloured Floor Plan to Present Final Design.

Using suggested floor finishes or clients existing along with selected furniture & finishes, a 2d visualisation will be created showing item specification as well as locational and quantity information for all specified items.

Once all information has been gathered and the design is complete, the client will receive an A3 digital presentation displaying everything included within the chosen package.
